Bodies of Water

Usually my feelings about different songs on an album vary drastically. But rarely do my feelings about different parts of a song vary as much as they do with these. There are times when these songs really work for me. Although I'm not big into the Arcade Fire/Polyphonic Spree group chorus scene, Bodies of Water pull it off more successfully than both of them. But other parts come off way too "Madrigals" for my liking.

There are moments when these really come together ("Oh to sing and be sung...to end and be done"), but neither is an anthem by any means.
